  a review from Amazon

I worked at Access with Jane, as well. She all but admits to being a disgruntled ex-employee. The entire premise of the book is her fantasy of what happened, with no supporting facts. I'm in awe that she is legally able to portay these fantasies in such a way that they appear to be "inside information" or in any way based in fact! I am truly sorry if Jane suffered the kind of childhood she details in this book, but it doesn't excuse manipulating the details of a crime she knows no more about than the rest of us, or exploiting a tragedy to seek personal vengeance. She was never a fan of the Ramseys, and always quick to spread any gossip. It's scary to see it becoming a career! Check your facts, folks, and save your money...

Reverse Speech ... eavesdrops on the psyche  .....

According to this book, if you the Ramseys in interviews and play it backwards there are

" twenty-five smoking guns" that link the parents to the killing of JonBenet

"... evidence from Patsys own mouth that she wrote the ransom note

John Ramsey...  used his daughter as his sex toy.

Patsy referred to JonBenet as you lady mannequin.

John Ramsey has a ravenous appetite for pre-pubescent girls"

(Theme from the twilight zone plays in background)

"... I think he is leaning to a Burke did it conclusion...
He also isn't alluding to anything erotic about the strangulation.
... he is making very clear though is that he doesn't think John Ramsey had anything to do with or even knew about what happened overnight on Dec. 25/26.
But he goes into great detail about all the lies JR and PR told and how they threw everyone under the bus to save their own hides. "

Where luminarias and striped candy canes once said
“”welcome,” garish, yellow, crime-scene tapes tell passers-by
to keep moving.

In a neighborhood used to block parties and mutual help
during times of illness, residents skirted news cameras and
passed each other with little exchange about the slaying.

“”We are continuing the investigation, methodically searching
the principal residence,” said Leslie Aaholm, communications
director for the city of Boulder. “”Thirty officers are
involved. The family is cooperating. They are in Boulder under
protective custody. They are not under house arrest.”

  An assault and a question
Posted by: jameson245 - 02-10-2017, 01:53 PM - Forum: A Little Girl's Dream - Replies (1)

AUSTIN, Texas, June 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The following release was issued
today by Windsor-Golf Distribution:

On the eve of her first book signing event, Boulder Colorado's Eleanor
VonDuyke was assaulted and robbed, leaving a message to "Back off."  Ms.
VonDuyke said, "I just can't believe this has happened, this has got to be
someone from the Ramsey Family.  Why else would somebody do this to me?"
Ms. VonDuyke's book entitled "A Little Girl's Dream: A JonBenet Ramsey
Story" by Windsor-Golf publishers, came out in April this year and has been
the center of still more controversy surrounding the JonBenet Ramsey murder.
Currently, the book is the only published subject available which describes
who killed JonBenet, plus answering the other questions of how, why, and where
of the murder.
Ms. VonDuyke is the Director of ShowBiz USA, a pageant system for
children.  Just before JonBenet Ramsey was to appear in her pageant, she was
abused and then murdered.  Ms. VonDuyke has witnessed other children being
abused and decided that it was time for someone to protect the children from
more abuse and even death.  In her book, Ms. VonDuyke shares her own story of
abuse and then begins to investigate the tragedy of beauty pageant princess
JonBenet Ramsey.  The book recruited more than ten people from across the
nation, each investigating the known evidence including contributors Dr. Cyril
Wecht and Darnay Hoffman.
Peter Des Camps, Ms. VonDuyke's Publisher, said "We should have seen this
coming, just last month she received a threatening phone call describing this
exact circumstance and it advised to her to just 'back off.'  But what could
we have done?  This person knew what he was doing.  He nearly broke her jaw so
she couldn't speak, broke her finger and then bruised her face so the author
would not go out in public.  This is just one step away from murder."  On
Monday, Mr. Des Camps began to notify the local authorities of future book
signing events to prevent any further incidents.
The assailant, after physically attacking and beating Ms. VonDuyke, got
away with only a handful of money and credit cards.  Ms. VonDuyke was treated
and released at a Boulder area hospital.  The police are still searching for
the assailant and were not available for comment.

Question - - If the assault was to tell her to "back off', would the assailant really take a handful of money and credit cards?  This makes no sense to me.

  premeditated by parents
Posted by: jameson245 - 02-10-2017, 01:35 PM - Forum: Travesty of Innocence - No Replies

The following lines were from Barnes and Noble's overview of the book

"JonBenet Ramsey, the Travesty of Innocence Revisited puts together factual information extracted for the most part from the ransom note that for the first time proves that the true culprits of her death were indeed her parents, John and Patsy Ramsey. (clip) The premeditated death of JonBenet Ramsey was an event preplanned by the Ramseys, staged and meticulously put together by them."

According to his second book, the real cause of JonBenét's death was Patsy's cancer.

Cyril Wecht's quickie book offers some insights but doesn't name a name

Who Killed Jonbenet Ramsey?

By Cyril Wecht and Charles Bosworth Jr.

"... the last line of the text is also the title of the book."

"... the shortcomings have more to do with being an instant book when all the facts are not yet known. On the whole, it's a well told but disturbing story that yields enough to form an opinion, a step back that provides perspective and analysis.
Yes, the cops erred and compromised the crime scene. Yes, the district attorney and the police could have worked together better. Yes, the parents didn't act like people who wanted the killer found when they hired separate attorneys and failed to give statements to police for 126 days. Yes, some pertinent information comes from the Globe supermarket tabloid, which set the tone for the coverage by publishing some autopsy photos of the little girl who was strangled and then had her skull fractured."

"The best features are the insights from Wecht, a forensic expert with a law degree. He is a man who never met a TV camera he didn't like, a man who never had an opinion he didn't share and a man who carries his own local political baggage.
Yet it is fascinating to see how his mind works, how he forms opinions, when given an autopsy report.
One of Wecht's favorite quotes comes from Sherlock Holmes: "Once you eliminate the impossible, what remains - no matter how improbable - must be the answer."
He eliminates the intruder, the pedophile and the kidnapper, concluding that the kidnap note written on paper from the Ramsey house is bogus. And if you really want to know what Wecht thinks, here's what he told the Post-Gazette's Seen column when asked who killed JonBenet:
"I believe most probably John Ramsey, the father, inadvertently, unintentionally. There is nothing premeditated or deliberate in this killing," Wecht said.
"It was a game being played with sexual overtones. The wife wrote the note, that's certain, and the whole thing was staged to make it appear it was an outside intruder.""
