interviewed some neighbors.
Six months after the murder, a Ramsey investigator went door to door talking to theneighbors.  I want to share a couple things from those interviews

M C lived across the alley with her husband and adult daughter,  She said there was so much traffic on the streets that she would not notice anyone who didn't seem to belong.  Between the bus route nearby, students parking in the area and walking to campus and people just out walking, it would be "so hard to say what's different or out of place".

Another neighbor told police she wasn't home that Christmas but no matter when she would not have been able to pick out strange cars in the busy neighborhood.  More interesting, she said she had not been contacted by police and didn't know of any neighbors who HAD. That in 6 months.
