RAMSEY CASE NEWS RELEASE #27
JOINT NEWS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, FEB. 13
Boulder County and the City of Boulder have scheduled a joint news conference for 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb., 13 in City Council Chambers, 1777 Broadway, at the corner of Broadway and Canyon. Boulder County District Attorney Alex Hunter and Boulder Police Chief Tom Koby are scheduled to speak at the joint news conference. There are no arrests pending and police have not named any suspects.
Please note the following logistical items:
1. Satellite trucks must be in the parking area by 9:30 a.m., and parking is available on a first come, first served basis.
2. Two pool television cameras will be allowed in the Council Chambers. One camera will be a fixed shot on the podium and the second camera will provide cut-away shots of the audience. KUSA Channel 9 will provide the pool cameras and will uplink the news conference for other stations on G-Star 4, transponder 15 full, standard audio. Uplink to the satellite will begin at 10:15 a.m. NO OTHER TELEVISION CAMERAS WILL BE ALLOWED IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS.
3. Space in Council Chambers is limited to about 150 seats.
4. Satellite trucks and other media vehicles may remain parked in the Municipal complex area for up to 2 hours following the news conference, after which time all parking regulations will be enforced.
The information which is planned for release on Thursday will be released at the news conference. The joint news conference will be aired live on Boulder Municipal Cable Channel 8.
