Officials disputed a recent media report that the Boulder Police Department asked the Ramseys to take polygraph tests.
City spokeswoman Leslie Aaholm said she did not have knowledge of any such request. Korten would not confirm the report either.
"I really don't want to respond to what appears to be Police Department leaks about the issue," Korten (Ramsey media consultant) said. "But ... our experts have told us that any polygraph tests made with the parents at this stage, given their emotional state, would produce results that are worthless.
