From Trip Demuth's presentation
#1
Trip Demuth was charged with making a presentation to the Boulder police showing them the weaknesses in their case against the Ramseys.  This is one way we can tell what evidence the police had, what they didn't have.

This thread will have quotes about the footprints that are in the report.

Page 2 -
"Officer Weiss writes that he observed footprints in the frost at the front door & observed no footprints in the area of the other exterior doors."

my note - He was not the first police officer at the house, not told to go to the house until 6:35 am on the 26th.  By there there had been a lot of activity at the house.

"The experts at NOAA say there would not have been snow on the north and west sidewalks.
Photos taken before 9am on 12/26/1996 show no snow on those sidewalks.
It was 10 degrees out that morning.
Those photos show that an intruder could have entered the house without leaving footprints."
